This deck was rfesurfaced by taking the original decking off, flipping the boards over and
screwing them back down on the original framing. This is a very economical alternative
to building a new deck. Cost is usually less than half that of a new deck. The original joist marks
show on the surface of the decking, but the wood is good for many more years this way,
