This deck was built with a pergola and a trellis wall on the back side. Orignally designed with perimeter benches, the design was changed to an overhead pergola and trellis wall. The final design works very well with the homeowner's yard. Once the deck was finished it had to pass muster with the supervisor....you'll see her a few shots down inspecting the decking.
