This deck was built with Ipe decking. No other decking in the world matches the durability or beauty of
Ipe [ee-pay]. It is a Brazilian Walnut hardwood that doesn't float in water. Each fastener has to be pre-drilled
to be installed. The cost is lower than that of most any composite and is guaranteed anywhere from
15 to 25 years longer than anything else on the market.

This is the smartest decking choice a client can make. Not only is it virtually indestructable, impervious to water and rot and insect proof, it's beautiful to look at. We sprayed the deck with water to show off it's grain...that's what it will look like once the seal coat goes on.

While we were building it a flying golf ball hit from a tee about 125 yards from the house hit the deck at full force between two of us....luckily it didn't hit us...but, not one mark on the deck. Try that with any other decking material.
